Sharpening Services

CHEF’S KNIVES・PARING KNIVES・FABRIC SHEARS

*Not currently servicing: serrated blades

  • I use the EdgePro BevelTech system which maintains angles perfectly and is much more ergonomic than classic whetstones. It’s still a hand sharpening system that uses whetstones (and I finish each knife with a traditional leather strop) but it’s more accurate and less grueling.

I match the existing angle on your blade unless you request something specific or the knife needs more extensive work. Maintaining the existing angle is the best way to minimize the amount of metal removed and extend your knife’s lifespan

If there's anything specific you want from your knives, just let me know. Big cleaver for hacking bones? I'll give it a sturdier angle. Sleek chef's knife for slicing garnishes? Let's get that edge practically invisible.

  • If you’re dissatisfied with the sharpening for any reason, please let me know, and I’ll happily work with you to fix any issues.

  • Knives: $3 per blade inch.

    Shears: $15

    New Customer Promotion:
$5 flat rate for the first knife with service of 2 or more knives
